A Special Place Corporation is a Colorado-based 501(c)3 nonprofit charitable organization (EIN: 81-3259702) which is actively seeking funding, in the form of grant-funding, donations in kind, and tax exempt donations, for our community-based housing and client support services. Funding will be used for operating costs specifically for housing, staffing, security, transportation, and technology for program support. Our organization has received funding from the Timberline Bank! This award will help us keep doing what we love: addressing housing for the seriously mentally ill in Mesa County, Colorado. These funds will be directed towards covering co-pays for eyeglasses for indigent clients.
Our organization has received generous funding from the Western Colorado Community Foundation! This award will help us keep doing what we love: addressing housing for the seriously mentally ill in Mesa County, Colorado. These funds will be directed towards general support of our organization.
The Western Colorado Community Foundation serves seven counties in western Colorado, managing charitable funds for community good. Currently, the Community Foundation manages over 300 charitable funds totaling over $145 million in assets and awards over $5.5 million in grants and scholarships annually.
