Kristen Kneebone, LCSW of The Synergy Services, LLC

When I started working in the field of social work around 2000, the passion I was following was to work beside people of all walks of life and ages, diagnoses, levels of functioning, and be a part of their journey in some way.  Throughout my journey in social work, I have carried a strong belief in meeting people where they are and walking beside them, not in front of them, or behind them as they strengthen, heal, and reach their goals.  I carry the same mission and vision with me since beginning my practice, The Synergy Services LLC, in 2020.  I believe in synergy and encourage work and effort from the client as well as from myself in order to have a greater and stronger outcome from the therapeutic journey. Kristin provides group and individual therapy onsite to participants of A Special Place.

Heather Stanford, RN

Heather serves as Clinical Director over A Special Place and oversees participant admissions and referrals, policies and procedures, and clinical needs of participants. 

Meghan Williams, RMA

Meghan serves as lead Medical Assistant over A Special Place and oversees high-intensity case management for participants. 

Rachel Cook, BA

Rachel has years of experience in complex case management serving at risk populations. The most recent years of her expertise have been dedicated to care coordination and connecting high-risk individuals in the Grand Valley to services.

Misty Crick, BS

Misty has years of experience in human services and criminal justice. She serves as support for patients in need of substance use services, case management, and assistance with their outpatient competency restoration education journey.

Frank Shahbahrami

Frank assists with daily operations within A Special Place including supply procurement, transportation, and staff engagement. 

Dillan Olson

Dillan serves as coordinator of onsite peer support specialist services and is an additional layer of support for individuals facing mental health, substance use, and/or traumatic events.
